“Salo fluctus” by Suzanne Hellums

One of my resin pieces, Salo fluctus, meaning surf wave in Latin. This is a 24″ x 36″ x 1.5″ gallery-wrapped canvas started with acrylics, pastels, and mica. It was then sealed and painted with 2 layers of resin to create the seafoam and waves. This is the 3 month journey:

After its pastel layer of the “criss-cross” look of the water added.

After resin layer 1.

Finished and cured, after resin layer 2. Thank you!
