These are pastel and mixed media on 8″ x 8″ cradled boards (1.5″ depth), with a beautiful glassy-looking coat of resin with some glittery mica used to impart a feeling of stars receding back into the night.
Inspired by the cellular matrix waves of the body; that “hold” all of our cells, tissues, and organs together. Science is beautiful!
Looks like the beach, but is inspired by the extracellular matrix of our anatomy.
